Bradford and Airedale Mental Health Advocacy Group (BAMHAG) have relaunched as VITAL (registered as VITAL Projects) in a bid to reposition themselves and update their image. They hope to attract more funding from various sources to provide more support to vulnerable people within the district.

The #steppingup4MH campaign is about recognising that people are humans not just a diagnosis. That as an organisation we will 'step up' and make a difference to the lives of others as experts by experience.

As part of their internal relaunch, 4 members of VITAL climbed the Via Ferrata at How Stean Gorge. The team traversed the Gorge in front of the rest of the Charity to pledge their commitment to step up for mental health in the district, encouraging others to look at ways to fundraise for the charity enabling VITAL to continue to speak up for vulnerable people whilst dismantling the taboos of mental health.
