I face a daily battle which I tell few people about. I am labelled moody, surly, grumpy, stuck up, miserable and up tight. I have faced comments like this since I was 17. Actually, I am often anxious, suffering with intrusive thoughts or rapid cycling between a depressed and high state. But I can't explain all this to people I pass in the street, or meet at the shop. So instead I am labelled... and often not liked, because people don't stop to consider I might not just be moody or stuck up. I am taking up this challenge partly because running and walking lifts my mood, but also to raise awareness of the unseen battle people face.

I will be keeping a log over on my blog Kitsywoo's Intolerant Kitchen
