Bradford and Airedale Mental Health Advocacy Group, held its official launch on Thurs 17th May revealing the Charity’s new name VITAL, as well as the branding and vision for the future.

The event was held at Cartwright Hall, Lister Park with a fantastic attendance including volunteers, service users, service managers and other professionals interested in supporting VITAL to enable vulnerable people to be heard and supported in the future.

The event focused on their unique services which are user run, meaning that the people running, working for and volunteering at VITAL have experience of mental ill health or as a carer. It was a colourful event to signify everyone being different with hopes for a positive future supporting vulnerable and unheard people in the district.

Playing at the event were the Haworth Ukulele Group, and it was generously supported by the Lord Mayors Wishing Well Appeal, as well as several local businesses enabling us to produce leaflets and information about our current services, as well as cater for the event.

Thanks to all that came and all that supported what was a fantastic event, a reflection of the future for VITAL.
