Donated time is one of the most valuable commodities to a charity. Learn new skills through our comprehensive training and link with peers through VITAL volunteering opportunities.

We are looking for people who have had their own experiences of mental health, who feel like they now want to give back and support those who are currently struggling.

As one of our volunteers you would take part in a FREE comprehensive training programme which would equip you to become both a Mental Health Advocate or a Mental Health Befriender. Once you’ve completed the training, you can then decide which of these roles you’d like to do. The training will also support those looking to become a Skills Based Volunteer.

VITAL are holding the next round of training, starting on 29th November. This will run for 7 consecutive Thursdays from 12pm - 4pm - excluding Christmas week.
